Last Thursday, 13-6-24, we presented our reviews of some exhibitions. I didn’t stick
to all of the guidelines, but I thought I gave a pretty decent review anyway.

Reflection
On the first Thursday of every month a lot of galleries in Belfast stay open late, so it’s a good opportunity to get out and see what’s being shown or to network. I haven’t usually done this, I just go and look, but the MA gave me the impetus to get more involved and be more critical (analytical?).
I’ve looked at the venues, the installations, the viewers and the curation of each exhibition, then tried to understand whether the exhibition has met the goals and expectations of the artists, audience and curators in each case and why.
