I want to keep up with my work on the beach, with images made at different exposure times. My friend, Kate, and I are taking an online workshop with Shona Perkins ( https://mybeautifulscotland.com/ ) and I’ve been making some ICM images.
1st October
Met Kate for a sunset shoot at White Park Bay. It was a partly clear sky at first, but clouded over and rained at the end, Used my Fuji XH2S with the 70-300mm lens and a variable ND filter, I kept the ISO low at 160 and adjusted my aperture and ND setting to get around a 2 second exposure. I need a lot more practice at this, and anyway Shona told us, I think we knew anyway, that this is quite a hit and miss activity.

Each row has 3 versions of the same shot; standard on the right, with levels adjustment in the middle and on the left with tweaks in Colour Efex Pro.
16th October
It was a bright sunny afternoon with a clear sky so I took Finn to Runkerry Beach at Portballintrae, Tried some more ICM, when I could take my attention off Finn. Same method as above,
