My exhibition website

I bought the domain names david-wright-photography.com and david-wright-photography.net ages ago, but never really used the .net one, it was pointed at the .com site, so I decided to use the.net site for something different plus my part of the cohort’s online group exhibition. I decide this a while ago, but it took some time to get the domain name transferred from Godaddy to Hostinger, and I finally set up the bare website last week, and just started adding pages to it today for our exhibition.

I was discussing the website’s format with Anna D yesterday and the workflow up to submission day. My tentative plan is to start big and whittle down the content. “ I think it goes: Body of work – the overall collection of relevant work, then smaller, Portfolio – the best of the body of work; smaller still, the Exhibition of work, which is the best fitting together selection from the Portfolio. I think I will start on the Body of Work next week. I want to do this because I’ve forgotten some of the work I made during the pause between Module 2 and Module 3. and I get confused because my images for my exhibition had some from Mod 2,3 and the pause. I want the Body of Work not to include any of the earlier work. Then I can move on to the Portfolio the following week and the exhibition the next week. I hope that works!

I went to Belfast yesterday to the Blues Festival and took my notebook, of course.

Here are a few sketches of possible layouts:
