Sometimes I get excited by the theme of an exhibition or a call for papers, but then I see it’s restricted to artists under 25 or otherwise age restricted. Fair enough, they do need a leg up, but maybe the competition could be divided into separate categories. This time however, the restriction was in my favour, the exhibition is for the over-60s.
I put a submission in on the last day, I’d nearly forgotten. All based on the MA work. I got a really nice reply from Clare, the co-ordinator, so I will put in three images to their selection committee. One Composite, one Cubic and one ICM.
