On 14th March we had a wee reception event for my exhibition. It was a really good night! About 30-40 people turned out and I had lots of interest and questions, I never even got a chance to have a glass of wine or bite of anything, All the hard work in preparation was worthwhile.… Continue reading Riverside Reception event

POSTMODERN
I’ll get to the title eventually … I had a bit of a head cold last week and I was a bit dozy during the one-2-one tutorial with Hayley. I usually record the tutorials as I don’t want to overlook anything, and I did, but the sound wasn’t recorded! Next day I took the train… Continue reading POSTMODERN
Hanging Images at the Riverside
On 29th February and 1st March I hung most of my exhibits, well, Evie did most of the hanging, for my exhibition at the Riverside Gallery. It went really well as Evie knows her work so well. By coincidence, she started working there at the beginning of lockdown, when I had my last exhibition there.… Continue reading Hanging Images at the Riverside

Finally visited Prime
I went down to Belfast with Grainne and Anne, and met my cousin, Deborah, at the Connswater shopping centre where Arts Care were holding their PRIME exhibition. The venue was actually closed when we got there, but Deborah phoned them and they opened it up. It was good to see my artwork hanging there among… Continue reading Finally visited Prime

Portfolio Websites

I might not do one for the MA, as I think the myportfolio sites are only online as long as you have a Creative Cloud subscription. Started one… Continue reading Portfolio Websites
PRIME, Disappointment
Translink have picked their days to go on strike! I already missed 2 music events in December and now I’ll miss the launch of PRIME because I can’t get to Belfast by train. My car is too unreliable. I was to meet my cousin and her friend, Frank, as well as Kate. Susan was going… Continue reading PRIME, Disappointment
Magic Thursday
I do like a Thursday. That’s my fun day. I’ve been doing train journeys to Belfast on Thursdays for about 10 years. Mainly to photography clubs or sometimes to art events. This week I decided to make the journey for 2 reasons; 1) Chantal is going to France for a fortnight, so I’ll be dog… Continue reading Magic Thursday
PRIME, accepted
I just found out that all three submissions have been accepted for the exhibition! Opening night is on 1st February. Chantal is going to France to see her mother, but Susan has volunteered to look after the dogs that evening so I can go.
