I started to make a photobook for the MFA in the last few months, but Clare thought it was too early and would stop me experimenting. I understand her view, but I don’t think she knew I’d just finished an MA in Fine Arts, and my work in the MFA would probably be an extension of the MA work, at first at least. I’ll continue with it, but leave the structure open, I’ll just do parts in separate chapters, so that they could make up an MA book, a MFA book or a combination. We’ll see.
I also want to do one for last year, and one for the Riverside solo exhibition (in March) over the Christmas period. I had started these in spring and summer 2024, but I got sidetracked by the MFA and other things.
I looked at these last night and I might jut start over and put in the bits on my portfolio site for the Riverside exhibition. I want to make an online portfolio, for showing all my work. I started doing this during and after the MA, but need to update, specially add the Kairos exhibition work and the MFA work.
