It just ocurred to me … that record receipt from November 75 for Joni Mitchell’s ‘Blue’ and Steely Dan’s ‘Countdown to Ecstasy’ … well, I still have most of my old vinyl, although I haven’t played them for over 30 years (but I’m actively putting together my old hifi system from the 70s and 80s – recently replaced the mid-range speakers, damaged by our pups, in both speaker cabinets that I made in Berlin in the mid-80s) … I probably still have those albums. I’ll have a wee look!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a couple of hours awkwardly hoking about (my albums are now at the bottom of a bookcase in my ‘fitness’ room), I found both albums. I’m sure the Steely Dan one is the same album. but I’m not sure about ‘Blue’, as it was a favourite album that I’ve had on cassette and later on CD too. I think I wore out one copy and bought a second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
