However, it&#8217;s got several disadvantages ( 1) you don&#8217;t get to keep your process files, so you can re-use them or edit them later; 2) it&#8217;s from Adobe, and I want to leave all subscription software; 3) you can only pick a couple of frame sizes, and there is no 3:2; 4) it&#8217;s very basic and I want to put the time into learning an app that  can do a lot more. The obvious app would be Premier Pro, since it is part of Adobe, but it&#8217;s part of Adobe; 5) Some other good candidates are Mac only, and although I have Macs as well as PCs, I don&#8217;t like the Mac environment and ethos.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m looking at Davinci Resolve for video editing but I&#8217;ve read that their Fusion section, which is where you do Animation, is very confusing. I&#8217;m going to try the animation that is now possible in Photoshop, which I think is pretty simple and maybe learn Resolve for videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bring back Flash! I could use it 20 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why video and animation?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I want to animate some of my composites to make it a bit easier to show how memories can change with time, and do it in a video or animation.
