For the last two years I have been making some videos, mainly with Adobe Rush. However, it’s got several disadvantages ( 1) you don’t get to keep your process files, so you can re-use them or edit them later; 2) it’s from Adobe, and I want to leave all subscription software; 3) you can only pick a couple of frame sizes, and there is no 3:2; 4) it’s very basic and I want to put the time into learning an app that can do a lot more. The obvious app would be Premier Pro, since it is part of Adobe, but it’s part of Adobe; 5) Some other good candidates are Mac only, and although I have Macs as well as PCs, I don’t like the Mac environment and ethos.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’m looking at Davinci Resolve for video editing but I’ve read that their Fusion section, which is where you do Animation, is very confusing. I’m going to try the animation that is now possible in Photoshop, which I think is pretty simple and maybe learn Resolve for videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bring back Flash! I could use it 20 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
