Last night it struck me; my father had worked from his days as an apprentice with IBM before WWII until he caught TB in the early 60s with cash registers and&nbsp;<strong><em>time clocks<\/em><\/strong>. He also repaired clocks for family and friends, so there were always bits of clocks lying around at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Could be the reason for my fascination? Also, mechanical wristwatches never work on me.
